My mom Is Mysterious

Yesterday, my mother who keeps grumbling at me called me. Anyways, let me tell you sometig about my mother.
I can't really understand y mom. Sometimes, I try to understand my mom, but I don't know exactly who she is now. My friends know my mom as someone who is just interested in my educating. And sometimes, she is kind enough to bring me some snacks when I didn't eat breakfast and went to school. However, there is something about her that I never understand. Usually, she is interested only in my education. She tells me to take good care of my 'company'. Of course, it's not a wrong saying. But to her friends are just people who study very hard or do well and whose examples I can follow.
I thought she would never judge my friends just by grades. But she seems to set me up with guys who have good grades. I don't want her to be like that. Of course, some friends who have good grades can be helpful to me.w However, do I have to make friends only with those who have good grades? I never want to be like that. I can't really understand my mom.
